These include Shamanism, Druidism, Asatru, Santeria, Wicca, etc. This group is for the peaceful and we ask that you keep your hearts pure and do not enter with hatred. Blessed Be! pagan (pgn) n. 1.) One who is not a Christian, Muslim, or Jew, especially a worshiper of a polytheistic religion. 2.) One who has no religion. 3.) A non-Christian. 4.) A hedonist. 5.) A Neo-Pagan. The Goal of This Group: -To provide a pagan-friendly forum for the discussion of paganism and the issues facing pagans. -To facilitate networking and the exchange of ideas, experiences, information, advice and more in a tolerant environment. -To be a leading resource for the online pagan community. Rules Of Conduct. 1.) No Spam, "Add Me" posts, hate propaganda, inappropriate/offensive pictures, or evangelical spam (esp. in regards to how we're all going to Hell or the "Good News." Trust me, we've heard it already.) 2.) Please try to respect your fellow group members and practice tolerance. Not everyone shares the same ideas and beliefs, not everyone took typing class or graduated to grammar school, not everyone has the same morals and ideals... We're not asking for all sweetness and light, but some sensibility and general human respect is expected. Name-calling and other forum "violence" will not be supported. If you had a bad day, punch a pillow, don't take it out on your fellow group members. Sexist, racist or anti-(religion) language and behavior will not be accepted. 3.)Topic hijacking is discouraged, please start a new topic to discuss a divergent idea if it warrants it. Please don't drag the same arguments and grudges from topic to topic. Deal with them as they arise or, preferably, in private. Keep the topic of this group in mind, let's keep randomness to a minimum and stay focused. 4.) Trolls will be banned once identified. If you intentionally antagonize the group, interfere with the basic functions of the group, ignore warnings or consistently abuse the rules and the members here, you will be identified as a troll. 5.) Please use internet etiquette and strive to use proper punctuation, spelling, grammar etc. If something is worth posting, it's worth posting clearly so it can be read by other group-members and the best responses can be achieved. Please don't shout (all caps) and please look through to avoid re-posting a topic that is already being discussed in order to cut down on repetitive topics. Duplicate topics will be deleted on sight. Note to Members - This group is one of the largest Pagan groups on MySpace, therefore, it's to be expected that a wide variety of folks would find themselves here before discovering divergent paths. We ask the experienced members, in both paganism AND MySpace interaction, to provide as much guidance as they are able and to avoid lashing out at inexperience... some people just don't know any better, why insult when you can teach? Additional note: This group is subject to the rules of MySpace. As it is open to both adults and minors, please be conscientious of the age of the participants when discussing anything of a sexual nature.
